Pennsylvania Homecare Association Announces Appointment of Mia Haney as CEO
February 28, 2024The Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mia Haney as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective February 26, 2024. Haney, who has been serving as the Interim CEO since November 2023, brings valuable leadership and expertise to the association’s sectors, including home care, home health, and hospice. PHA is confident in her ongoing contributions towards advancing Pennsylvania’s home-based care and the overall success of the organization.
With more than 15 years of industry experience, Haney joins the association with a strong focus on home care and home health advocacy, quality improvement, and organizational management. In her former role, Haney’s leadership spanned multiple transactions, taking a privately-owned home healthcare organization through Private Equity ownership and ultimately to a publicly traded organization where Haney served as Chief Operating Officer of a seven-state personal care operation. Haney’s strategic vision, combined with her collaborative approach and deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the home healthcare industry, will be instrumental in guiding PHA toward continued success.

As CEO, Mia Haney will lead PHA’s efforts to advocate for policies that support the delivery of home-based care, provide valuable resources and support to PHA members, and strengthen partnerships with stakeholders at the local, state, and national levels.
